The company’s hardware teams work across multiple layers of the quantum computing stack, including advanced traps, optical front-end modules, imaging systems, QPU development, system engineering, manufacturing, and validation.
This is an opportunity to join a highly multidisciplinary engineering environment and take part in the system-level design of complex optical and electro-optical systems.
Responsibilities
• Lead system-level design and engineering of complex optical and multidisciplinary systems.
• Define system architecture, requirements, interfaces, and technical specifications across optics, mechanics, analog hardware, and physics domains.
• Drive end-to-end technical execution from concept definition through integration, validation, and a working product.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, optical, physics, hardware, and system teams to align design requirements and implementation.
• Support system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation of complex hardware systems.
• Identify technical gaps, lead cross-disciplinary problem solving, and ensure system-level feasibility and quality.
• Coordinate technical work across internal teams and external partners when needed.
Required Qualifications
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or graduate of a technological military unit- must.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Physicist, Analog Hardware Engineer, or in a similar multidisciplinary hardware role- must.
