Join our team and play a key role in the development of cutting-edge medical systems and devices. As a System Engineer, you will collaborate closely with various technical disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Algorithm) as well as cross-functional teams (RA, QA, Manufacturing) to drive the development of laser optical systems throughout the product lifecycle.
Main Duties:
• Lead technical aspects of complex Medical System & Device development.
• Understand user, product, business, and marketing requirements, converting them into practical system-level requirements.
• Define, write, and manage Design Inputs and flow-down.
• Partition large systems into manageable subsystems, modules, and components.
• Plan and lead system design and integration with a cross-disciplinary engineering team.
• Drive validation and verification activities for the product, including system-level testing.
• Ensure product performance and quality, collaborating with project managers.
• Provide technical support for sales and marketing activities.
• Lead problem-solving and escalations from customers and within the organization.
• Perform root cause analysis of in-service issues and develop design changes (ECOs) to resolve them.
• Collaborate with the Regulatory team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collect feedback from field and production teams, driving ongoing product improvements.
• Work with program managers to create and manage project schedules.
Required Qualifications:
• BSc in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bio-medical Engineering, or Computer Engineering from a leading university. Master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing multi-disciplinary products (HW, Mechanics, Software, Physics).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in system engineering.
• Experience in resolving complex system issues and taking a hands-on approach when necessary.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English.
• Experience in Medical Devices is an advantage.
• Experience in a global company is a plus.
• Knowledge of optics/laser is an advantage.
