Supplier Manager and Procurement Buyer for the Electronic Development and Manufacturing field – BTP Production

About the role

MALAM, Missile and Space Systems Division, is seeking a Supplier Manager and Procurement Buyer for the Electronic Development and Manufacturing field – BTP Production.

The role includes:

• Managing local suppliers in Israel under a Turnkey model for military projects involving the development of electronic assemblies, including circuit cards, enclosures, racks, test equipment, and cabinets.

• Identifying suppliers and managing the procurement and engagement process, including issuing RFQs, conducting negotiations, managing agreements, issuing purchase orders, and processing payments.

• Monitoring and controlling suppliers' compliance with the company's production plans, including responsibility for the knowledge transfer process to manufacturing and coordination with engineering teams.

• Managing risks while addressing technical gaps, quality issues, and suppliers' logistical risks.

• Managing suppliers' interfaces with the organization through ongoing coordination with project management, engineering, finance, and quality assurance departments.

• Managing deliveries while striving to meet required delivery schedules, reduce costs, and maintain high quality standards.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or Logistics – Mandatory.

• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement and Subcontractor Management – Mandatory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems – Mandatory.

• Technical background and familiarity with the electronics industry, including development and manufacturing processes – Mandatory.

• Experience in technology procurement – Advantage.

• Experience and familiarity with the electronic components market and obsolescence management – Advantage.
