    About ROVR

ROVR is a music-tech venture on a mission to reinvent music discovery for the digital age. We champion human-powered curation over machine prediction. Our platform serves a growing global community of over 1 million active listeners, offering an unparalleled high-fidelity audio experience through our app and proprietary hardware. ROVR stands for discovery without shortcuts and technology in service of human taste.

    The Opportunity

We are seeking a Music Program, Operations & Licensing Coordinator to become the operational and data backbone of ROVR’s broadcasts.

This is a unique role for an organized music lover with a tech-savvy mindset. You will be the vital link between our global network of curators and our platform, ensuring flawless broadcasts.

Crucially, you will also be our "data geek" in charge of extracting broadcast data and managing global music licensing reporting.

If you love music, excel in coordination, and are comfortable crunching data, this role is for you.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Program Scheduling: Handle the high-level programming and scheduling of ROVR’s radio broadcasts well in advance, ensuring a seamless and automated listener experience.

    • Curator Relations & Asset Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our international curators. Coordinate with them to gather all necessary materials.

    • Audio Quality Control: Rigorously review and verify all incoming playlists and guest mixes to ensure the mixing, audio levels, and transitions meet ROVR’s high-fidelity standards.

    • Music Licensing & Reporting: Extract, analyze, and format music broadcast data to prepare accurate reporting for music rights organizations and radio licensing bodies worldwide.

    • CMS & Metadata Operations: Perform daily administrative workflows within our Content Management Systems (CMS), including editing metadata and musical energies for accurate platform discovery.

    Who You Are

    • The Organized Music Lover: You have a profound, broad understanding of music and genres, combined with exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.

    • The "Geek" Mindset (Data-Friendly): You are analytical and comfortable manipulating data. Extracting logs, navigating CMS databases, and mastering Excel/Google Sheets spreadsheets to build compliance reports doesn't scare you.

    • The Coordinator: You have great interpersonal skills to manage relationships with artists, DJs, and tastemakers globally, ensuring deadlines are met.

    • The Impeccable Ear: You possess a strong technical ear. You can easily spot a bad audio transition, a poor mix, or a low-quality file.

    • Language: Native-level English proficiency (both written and verbal) is strictly required to communicate with global curators and international licensing bodies.

    What We Offer

To be part of a fast-growing music-tech startup, and a collaborative environment surrounded by passionate music lovers and high-end audio hardware.
