Overview
Digital-Rights Researchers investigate how AI impacts privacy, freedom of expression, and civil liberties.
Responsibilities
• Maintain digital-rights databases: Catalog and monitor digital content to detect misuse or rights violations.
• Manage copyright claims: Oversee copyright issues and license negotiations.
• Negotiate rights: Secure third-party content rights and address licensing issues.
• Educate teams on compliance: Provide guidance on rights management and policy updates.
• Develop policies: Draft digital rights policies and track metrics for compliance.
Qualifications
• Degree in law or communications.
• Familiarity with copyright law and digital rights management.
• Strong organizational skills.
