Who We Are

PAYTAG builds self-checkout, RFID, and retail automation systems — physical products running in live stores that connect hardware to cloud services in real time. Our stack spans embedded Linux devices, IoT protocols, and GCP-hosted services. We ship things that exist in the real world, not just in the cloud.

We're looking for a systems and integration leader who thrives at the intersection of networking, infrastructure, and hands-on field work.

What You'll Own

• Lead and own all systems and integration efforts across Paytag's hardware and software stack

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network environments for our products and customer sites

• Manage and support Linux and Windows operating systems in production environments

• Write scripts and automations to streamline deployments, monitoring, and operations

• Troubleshoot complex networking and integration issues — live hardware, live customers

• Work directly with customers and partners on technical integrations and on-site rollouts

• Define and evolve internal systems standards and integration practices

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience with enterprise networking and communication protocols — TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls

• Deep hands-on experience managing Linux and Windows operating systems

• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or equivalent)

• High ownership mindset — you take problems end to end and see them through

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
