Development Team Lead

A fast-growing, AI-driven SaaS company operating in the network management and IT infrastructure space, is looking for an experienced Development Team Lead to join us in a high-impact role shaping our product, team, and architecture.

This is a Hands-On position for an engineer with strong Architecture & Design experience, who can balance big-picture thinking with execution. You should be comfortable diving into the code, leading by example, and bringing real added value on both the technical and managerial sides.

Initially, you'll oversee a team of two senior developers, with the potential to lead a group of 5-10~ employees within a year. This is a great position if you're looking for real ownership, growth potential, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.

The Role:

We are looking for a high-caliber, with a strong emphasis on both UI/UX development and server-side engineering.

You will build intuitive, high-performance interfaces for complex, data-heavy systems, while also contributing significantly to backend services, APIs, and system architecture. This role goes beyond UI development - you will help design and implement the end-to-end flow of data from backend systems to user-facing applications.

In addition, you will lead a team of senior engineers, drive technical decisions, and ensure strong execution across both frontend and backend domains.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and build modern, responsive, and intuitive UIs using the latest Angular

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices

• Translate complex system behavior and network data into clear, actionable user experiences

• Own features end-to-end - from UI/UX design through backend implementation and deployment

• Work with real-time, data-heavy applications (dashboards, monitoring, analytics)

• Design and implement scalable backend architectures to support platform growth

• Collaborate closely with product and design to deliver polished, user-centric interfaces

• Drive frontend and backend architecture decisions, including data models and service design

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability across the full stack

Team Lead Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of fullstack engineers

• Define technical direction across frontend and backend domains

• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and system design standards

• Oversee delivery planning, execution, and technical ownership of features

• Partner with product and leadership on architecture, priorities, and roadmap execution

• Build a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, quality, and velocity

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a fullstack or backend/frontend engineer - must

• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers

• Experience with SaaS Products

• Ownership mindset - from system design architecture to production operations

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience owning delivery in a fast-paced, startup environment

• Strong experience with: Nodejs, Typscript, Angular with big advantage for Java and Python

• Experience building and designing RESTful APIs and/or microservices

• Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and server-side architecture

• Strong UI/UX intuition and attention to detail

• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL

• Experience with real-time or event-driven systems

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Advantage:

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging/streaming systems

• Experience building real-time dashboards or monitoring platforms

• Experience with data-intensive or network-oriented systems

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
