International Controller

A global logistics and supply chain services company is seeking an experienced International Controller with strong business acumen to join our leading finance team.

About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and optimizing the group's international financial operations. The position entails hands-on management of global accounting activities, leading month-end close and reporting processes, and working closely with key stakeholders both locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform month-end close, consolidation, and the preparation of financial statements for the company's global subsidiaries.

• Monitor and manage international cash flows, coordinating closely with local finance teams and overseas partners.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, cross-border transaction rules, and regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.

• Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support management's strategic decisions.

• Support audit processes and implement internal controls to improve operational and financial efficiency.

• Act as a financial business partner to operations and management, providing analytical insights to support global scalability. What Are We Looking For? • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a significant advantage.

• Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Controller in a global company; preference for candidates from logistics, supply chain, or fast-paced global service industries.

• Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience in financial accounting and reporting, including consolidation and month-end close in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

• Strong proficiency in international finance, taxation, regulations, and cross-border transactions.

• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Experience with internal controls and risk management in a multi-location organization.

• Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Excel; familiarity with BI tools or financial dashboards is an advantage.

• Languages: Highly fluent/professional English (written and spoken) – a must for working with global stakeholders.

• Key Traits: Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
