R&D Manager

The corporate headquarters and R&D facility are situated in Center District, operating under a full-time, in-office collaboration model to foster close-knit teamwork and direct alignment.

Position Overview-

• R&D Manager serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and holding ultimate strategic and technical ownership over all engineering and quality assurance activities.

• This is a pure management and leadership role (no hands-on coding required) focused on driving product quality, scaling infrastructure, and implementing modern software methodologies.

• Managing a multi-disciplinary engineering division, providing direct leadership to a team of software engineers and guiding the QA Lead and testing specialists.

• Designing and executing the company's long-term technical roadmap, aligning sprint planning, optimizing software release cycles, and setting high-level engineering KPIs.

• Driving operational excellence by introducing modern delivery workflows, standardizing recruitment pipelines for tech talent, and integrating next-generation AI-assisted development tools into daily engineering workflows.

• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Workforce Management (WFM) SaaS, Technical & Executive Leadership, Release Management, Agile/Scrum Methodologies, CI/CD Pipelines, Multi-tier Web Architectures (PHP, JS, CSS, HTML), Relational Databases (Oracle / Linux), QA Methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven leadership track record with at least two distinct, formal engineering management roles (e.g., Team Leader, R&D Manager, or VP R&D) – Mandatory

• Extensive experience directly managing a team of at least 6–7 software developers – Mandatory

• Strong technical foundation with a proven background in hands-on software development (any stack; the team operates primarily in a PHP, JavaScript, and SQL-based environment) – Mandatory

• Recent, hands-on experience developing, architecting, or managing SaaS-based web applications or enterprise cloud systems – Mandatory

• Practical experience establishing, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD deployment pipelines – Mandatory

• Proven experience or solid conceptual familiarity with integrating AI-driven development tools or automation copilots to optimize engineering output – Strong Advantage

• Technical background in designing or setting up test automation frameworks – Advantage
