R&D Engineer

Rapid Medical is a fast-growing medical device company focused on developing, manufacturing, and selling innovative devices for endovascular interventional procedures.

We are looking for a talented and creative engineer to join our R&D team and be a key player in our future development.

LOCATION: Yokneam, Israel

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop innovative neurointerventional medical devices as part of the R&D team.

• Plan and execute verification tests for new prototypes and new products

• Prepare product documentation, including DHF and DMR

• Analyze test results and author detailed engineering reports

• Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory Affairs to ensure design control compliance

• Lead design transfer activities, support pilot production, and transition products into manufacturing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from a leading university, GPA 85+

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role

• Hands-on experience in the medical device industry – an advantage

• Familiarity with design control processes and standards (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820) – an advantage\

• Proficiency with SolidWorks – an advantage

• Full proficiency in English, including reading and writing technical documentation

• Team player with strong communication skills, self-driven and detail-oriented
