Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading electronics manufacturing company.

In this role, you will support the full product lifecycle, from prototype and NPI through production stabilization, while driving process improvements and providing engineering support to manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering ownership for products manufactured on site.

• Support manufacturing in cable assemblies, sub-assemblies, test fixtures and production infrastructure.

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from development to mass production.

• Implement engineering changes and continuous process improvements.

• Define, specify and procure manufacturing tools and production fixtures.

• Investigate manufacturing issues and lead root cause analysis.

• Prepare and maintain work instructions, product documentation and technical specifications.

• Train and support production personnel.

• Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and Production teams.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or Practical Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an electronics manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience transferring multidisciplinary products from R&D to Manufacturing.

• Experience with PCB assembly and electronic manufacturing processes.

• Experience working with Priority ERP.

• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

• Good understanding of engineering change processes (ECO / ECN).

• Experience with SMT and TH production lines – an advantage.

• Experience supporting electronic manufacturing subcontractors – an advantage.

• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA) – an advantage.

• Good English communication skills.
