Java Team Lead

A multi-billion-dollar technology leader specializing in AI-driven Revenue Intelligence for B2B enterprises.

The company develops an advanced artificial intelligence platform designed to analyze business interactions, deliver real-time operational insights, and drive accurate revenue forecasting.

Serving thousands of enterprise clients and leading global brands, the company operates internationally with a substantial engineering hub in Israel.

Located in central Israel (walking distance from major train and light rail stations), operating on a hybrid work model with 2 days WFH per week.

Role Description-

• Joining as a R&D Infrastructure / Enablement Team Lead, direct management of 3–5 core software developers with a ~40–50% hands-on orientation.

• Leading the Application Infrastructure squad responsible for developer velocity, core application libraries, architectural standards, reliability, and platform scalability across all R&D.

• Architecting scalable backend services, monitoring tools, automation pipelines, and data sourcing management tools.

• Hands-on development in Java / Spring Boot on top of AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and OpenSearch.

• Serving as the primary technical partner for application development teams, providing architectural solutions, standards, and framework tooling.

Requirements-

• 8 years of hands-on software development experience – Mandatory

• 2 years of experience leading software engineering teams – Mandatory

• Proven expertise in Java or Kotlin development – Mandatory

• Deep technical experience with Spring / Spring Boot framework – Mandatory

• Proven experience in Cloud-native environments (AWS), containerization (Kubernetes), or microservices architecture – Advantage

• Background in developing backend core infrastructure, shared libraries, or platform engineering tools – Advantage
