Mechanical Design Engineer

The Role Includes:

• Mechanical design of hydraulic and pneumatic flow systems, truss structures, lifting and erection systems, and electromechanical systems.

• Design of mechanical accessories and components, evaluation of design alternatives, preparation of design reviews, presentation of alternatives to customers, and participation in professional engineering discussions.

• 3D modeling and drafting using Siemens NX in a Teamcenter environment, including release through the company's configuration management system.

• Analytical calculations for fluid system design.

• Handling interface documents and ensuring proper interfaces with other engineering disciplines, particularly analysis teams.

• Working with subcontractors and providing engineering support throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in the design of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic system design and analysis tools.

• Experience working with NX CAD in a Teamcenter (TC) environment - an advantage.

• Experience with static and dynamic analysis software such as ANSYS and Nastran - an advantage.
