Global Supply Chain Manager 239518

A leading defense electronics company in the Sharon region is seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations in a complex manufacturing environment.

This is a key leadership position for a hands-on professional with strong planning and operational expertise, extensive experience in manufacturing, and the ability to drive cross-functional processes from customer order intake through production and final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain process, from customer order receipt through production and product delivery.

• Own the company's material planning strategy, including MRP execution, material availability, inventory convergence, and supply planning.

• Develop and manage production plans for internal manufacturing sites and subcontractors.

• Oversee inventory planning, control, optimization, and performance monitoring.

• Manage all warehouse operations and inventory management activities.

• Lead and develop teams across Planning, Production Control (PPC), Material Planning, and Warehousing functions.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize workflows through ERP and supporting information systems.

• Build, maintain, analyze, and improve operational data and reporting systems.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and other key stakeholders.

• Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors locally and globally.

• Report directly to the VP of Operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management or a related field. Master's degree is an advantage.

• 3-5 years of experience managing Supply Chain operations.

• 5-10 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) within a manufacturing company.

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.

• Strong background in electronics manufacturing, electronic assemblies, or related industries.

• Experience managing teams of 4-8 employees or more.

• Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, including inventory management, material planning, production planning, and supply execution.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Priority ERP, including the MRP module.

• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, analysis, and reporting.

• Strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and system-wide thinking.

• Ability to combine strategic leadership with a hands-on operational approach.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with subcontractors and global supply chains.

• Experience in the defense, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
