Senior Physicist / Electro-Optics Engineer

Location: Be'er Ya'akov

Job Description

• Leading electro-optical and radiometric scopes in seeker development.

• Formulating the electro-optical system for the seeker.

• Conducting system analysis, physical modeling, and performance research.

• Designing and executing laboratory experiments for system validation of seeker performance.

• Working closely with algorithm developers, system engineers, software engineers, and QA teams.

Requirements

• Education: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics / Electro-Optics Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering – Advantage.

• Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Physicist / Electro-Optics Engineer in the industry – Mandatory.

• Experience leading an engineering team – Advantage.

• Extensive practical experience in electro-optics / radiometry laboratories, etc. – Mandatory.

• Extensive practical experience in image processing using Matlab / Python – Mandatory.

• Deep understanding of wave optics, Gaussian beams, radiometry, and blackbody laws – Mandatory.

• Experience with optical design software (Zemax / Oslo) – Advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player mindset.
