Position Overview-

• Backend Engineering Team Leader (Around 20% Hands-on) taking end-to-end management ownership over an elite, growing squad of 5 Backend Developers driving the core B2C global digital banking platform.

• Reporting directly to the R&D Group Manager, executing high-level technical roadmaps while providing close professional mentorship, technological guidance, and strict code-review standards.

• Designing and architecting high-scale, multi-tenant distributed microservices running under extreme transactional throughput and real-time ledger synchronization constraints.

• Influencing core architectural landscapes and complex database patterns, balancing strategic technical management with focused, high-impact hands-on code contributions.

• Core Domain & Ecosystem- FinTech & Digital Banking, Cross-Border Payments (B2B/B2C APIs), Real-Time Transactional Ledgers, High-Scale Backend Architecture, Distributed Microservices, JVM Ecosystem, Cloud-Native Systems (AWS).

Requirements-

• 2+ years of formal professional experience as a Software Team Leader managing backend engineering teams within product-driven environments – Mandatory

• 7+ years of robust professional experience dedicated to backend software engineering – Mandatory

• Production-grade coding mastery and deep architectural background within the JVM ecosystem (Java / Scala / Kotlin) – Mandatory

• Extensive hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance microservices across modern Cloud environments (specifically AWS) – Mandatory

• Proven track record tackling complex architectural challenges associated with data consistency, high-concurrency systems, or distributed transactional workflows – Mandatory

• Prior background or solid engineering familiarity with financial technologies, digital wallets, payment gateways, or secure API design – Strong Advantage

• A highly dynamic leader with exceptional data-driven decision-making skills and a strong product-oriented mindset – Mandatory
