תיאור המשרה המלא
המשרה המקורית · נשמר לעיוןA deep-tech quantum computing company is developing a full-stack quantum computing platform that combines advanced hardware, software, physics, optics, and system engineering.
The company’s teams work across multiple layers of the quantum computing stack, including quantum processing units, electro-optical systems, optical front-end modules, imaging systems, system development, engineering, manufacturing, and validation.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Experimental Physicist to join a highly multidisciplinary R&D environment and work on complex electro-optical systems for advanced quantum computing platforms. The role offers a hybrid model based in Ness Ziona.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, assemble, and validate complex electro-optical systems for advanced quantum computing platforms.
• Integrate high-precision optical sub-systems into complex quantum computing systems.
• Maximize QPU performance by defining noise budgets, running simulations, performing measurements, and driving optimization to reduce noise and error sources.
• Provide electro-optical expertise and technical guidance across active systems and multidisciplinary R&D activities.
• Investigate and evaluate innovative technologies for next-generation quantum computing platforms.
• Analyze data from optical experiments, including data collection, processing, graphing, model fitting, and interpretation of results.
• Work with subcontractors and external partners on design, manufacturing, integration, and technical execution.
Required Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optics, Applied Physics, or a related field; or exceptional M.Sc. graduates with significant research or industry experience - must.
• Proven experience working with lasers and electro-optical systems - must.
• Broad and deep understanding of optical principles, optical systems, and experimental optical techniques - must.
• Experience analyzing data from optical experiments, including collection, processing, visualization, model fitting, and interpretation- must.
• Strong hands-on experimental skills and ability to work in a complex multidisciplinary R&D environment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, independence, and strong technical ownership.
