C++ Backend Developer

Location: Ashdod, Israel (On-site)

Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a C++ Backend Developer to join a leading defense technology company in Ashdod.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing complex backend systems in a C++ environment as part of a highly skilled software team. You will work on challenging projects involving advanced software architecture, Linux-based development, and the implementation of innovative technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex backend applications using C++

• Develop high-performance, scalable software solutions

• Work in a Linux development environment

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional software teams in an Agile environment

• Participate in the design and implementation of modern software architectures

• Contribute to the migration of legacy systems to Microservices architecture

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Backend development using C++

• Experience developing as part of a software development team – required

• Experience developing in a Linux environment – strong advantage

• Experience with .NET Core – significant advantage

• Experience migrating monolithic applications to Microservices architecture – significant advantage

• Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases – advantage

• Experience working in an Agile development environment with multiple software interfaces – advantage

• Willingness to travel abroad when required
