Structural Analysis Engineer

ELTA Systems is looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering Directorate.

The role includes:

• Supporting the design process of diverse products while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability

• Developing structural concepts and evaluating their feasibility under mechanical load conditions

• Building finite element models and performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

• Conducting detailed strength calculations and preparing structural analysis and qualification reports

• Planning and supporting structural validation tests and experiments

• Providing engineering support throughout the manufacturing process

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Aerospace Engineering – mandatory

• High level of English proficiency (written and verbal) – mandatory

• Experience in performing structural and stress analyses – an advantage

• M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering specializing in structures and strength – an advantage

• Knowledge and experience in structural statics, solid mechanics, elasticity theory, and vibration theory – an advantage

• Knowledge of NASTRAN/PATRAN software – an advantage

• Experience with dynamic analyses (shock, vibration, frequency response) – an advantage

• Experience with fatigue analysis – an advantage

• Experience with composite materials analysis – an advantage

• Familiarity with military specifications, requirements, and standards – an advantage

About the Department:

The Mechanical Engineering Directorate at ELTA Systems is responsible for the design and development of advanced military systems operating under challenging environmental conditions across a variety of defense platforms.

The engineering activities incorporate cutting-edge technologies in materials, structures, and thermal management systems, including extensive analysis, simulations, and validation testing to ensure product reliability and performance.

The Structural Analysis team works closely with mechanical design engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, high-quality solutions for advanced defense systems.
