We are seeking a Product Manager (Tactical Gear) to join our team.

The Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the product strategy. This role represents the voice of the market and end users, translating market insights and operational needs into mission-driven product lines aligned with the company’s brand and commercial objectives.

The Product Manager plans each product line in advance, defines the product requirements, and provides clear direction to R&D for the design and development of the line.

The role is also responsible for ensuring that each product line is successfully developed and launched according to the predefined timelines.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

• Define and lead the product strategy for assigned gear product lines.

• Build a product roadmap at least 12 months ahead, aligned with brand strategy and market demand.

• Identify opportunities for new products, line extensions, and product improvements.

Market & Field Insights

• Conduct market research and analyse competitor offerings.

• Gather feedback from end users, distributors, and operational professionals.

• Translate field insights into product requirements and opportunities.

Product Line Planning

• Plan complete product lines including key models, features, price positioning, and launch timing.

• Ensure alignment between product assortment, brand positioning, and commercial goals.

• Define product requirements and specifications for R&D.

Product Development Leadership

• Provide clear direction to R&D for product design and development.

• Work closely with design, sourcing, and operations throughout the development process.

• Ensure products meet operational performance, durability, usability requirements, and cost targets.

Product Execution & Lifecycle Management

• Ensure the final product line is ready according to the predefined timelines.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

• Work with sales and commercial teams to ensure product-market fit.

• Support pricing strategy.

• Assist in product launches, product training, and customer presentations.

• Recommend updates, continuous improvements, or phase-outs when needed.

Requirements

• Product management experience in tactical gear, outdoor equipment, or similar industries.

• Strong understanding of tactical gear systems or mission-critical products.

• Ability to translate market and field insights into clear product strategies and requirements.

• Experience working closely with R&D or product development teams.

• Strong commercial mindset and understanding of product positioning.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Advantage

• Experience working with military, law enforcement, or professional end users.
