המשרה המקורית · נשמר לעיוןCamtek's R&D division is looking for a Computer Systems Engineer to design, optimize, and scale the advanced computing infrastructure that powers our next-generation systems. This is an R&D engineering role focused on system architecture, performance engineering, and high-throughput computing — not an IT support or helpdesk position . You'll work alongside hardware and software R&D teams to push the performance, reliability, and scalability of the compute platforms behind our products. Description • Architect, analyze, and optimize computing system designs — CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, and networking — for R&D compute environments. • Design and tune high-performance computing (HPC) and embedded system architectures (advantage). • Engineer and support Windows and Linux environments as part of R&D infrastructure, including virtualization platforms. • Design and optimize networking architecture for compute clusters: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and high-throughput protocols (Ethernet, InfiniBand, RDMA). • Build automation and tooling (scripting) for system monitoring, configuration, and deployment at scale. • Profile and optimize system performance, resource allocation, and workload distribution across compute infrastructure. • Lead deployments, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance of R&D compute systems. • Partner cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and Software Engineering to align infrastructure with R&D product needs. • Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and SOPs for systems you design and maintain.
