Big Data Engineer - IT

Scope: Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing workflows.

• Build and optimize data storage, ingestion, and transformation solutions.

• Support large-scale data platforms and ensure data quality and reliability.

• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams on data-driven initiatives.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or similar

• Experience with SQL, ETL processes, and distributed data systems

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies

• Experience within Software and IT industries - Advantage

• Experience with Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Hadoop, or similar tools

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices
