A well-funded, VC-backed startup building a category-defining AI/SaaS platform for the US market is looking for a strategic VP R&D to join our founding executive team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the technical vision, build the engineering management layer, and scale the organization from its early stages into a world-class, high-performing department.

The Mission

Scale: Drive organizational design, leading the hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of a world-class R&D team.

Influence: Partner closely with the CEO on corporate strategy and represent the technology organization to the Board of Directors and investors.

Execute: Evolve and maintain a secure, cloud-native architecture built for massive US enterprise adoption.

Innovate: Oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle of data-heavy and AI-powered product capabilities.

The Profile

Leadership: 5+ years of senior R&D leadership experience (VP or Director level) within hyper-growth startups.

Team Building: Proven track record of building management tiers and successfully scaling engineering teams.

Domain Expertise: Strong background in B2B SaaS, including direct experience with the US market, enterprise readiness, and compliance standards.

Tech & AI: Practical experience delivering AI and data-driven products successfully into production environments.

Communication: Stellar English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
