AI R&D Transformation Lead

We’re expanding a fast-growing practice that helps engineering teams leverage AI in their SW development lifecycle and transform into AI-native teams. We’ve served dozens of satisfied customers in Israel and abroad and are now hiring a hands-on engineer to lead and drive R&D AI transformation programs, AI tooling adoption & tracking, create resources and run training at scale. Key Responsibilities: • Own the AI R&D transformation and Agentic SDLC agenda across multiple clients: assessments, KPIs, rollout plans, training, champions programs, skills/agent developments, etc. • Lead AI Coding Tooling optimization end-to-end, plus evaluate/compare adjacent tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Kiro, etc). • Create training materials (slides, exercises, demos) and deliver workshops; Train teams yourself and mentor trainer bench. • Develop AI infra & tooling , dashboards, frameworks, playbooks and AI resources (skills, agents, hooks, MCPs, etc) for clients to enable transformation, automation and governance • Partner with Sales/Delivery on pre-sales to attract new customers. • Stay on the cutting edge of releases and best practices, turn learnings into repeatable packages .

Requirements: Required Skills & Qualifications: • Solid coding background of at least 5+ years (preferably Fullstack or Backend) • Proven experience as a power user of Claude Code and/or Cursor/ GitHub Copilot /Kiro • Proven experience driving AI Dev tool adoption in engineering teams (assisting in rollouts, measuring impact, changing workflows). • Proficiency working over AWS infrastructure • Training experience - building and delivering technical workshops • Opinionated practitioner who can compare tools and best practices and explain trade-offs • Ability to write, speak and lecture fluently in English . • Entrepreneurial mindset : you can lead projects, create content, and help drive impact Advantages • Experience with SDLC optimization and leading R&D AI Transformation in an org • Experience with Kiro and/or Github Copilot • Consulting Background • Track record of leading developer communities or internal champion programs. • Managed a team of developers
