Senior SQL Server DBA – Israel | Hybrid

Senior DBA (SQL Server) | Full Hands-On Role | International Industrial Company

An international industrial company is looking for an experienced Senior DBA to join its team and take end-to-end ownership of the database domain.

What you'll do

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments across Production and Test systems.

• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, resolve deadlocks, and perform performance tuning and query optimization.

• Manage backup and recovery processes, including periodic restore testing to ensure high availability and data resilience.

• Perform version upgrades, preventive maintenance, and continuous optimization of database environments.

• Manage database security, users, and permissions according to best practices and organizational policies.

• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) processes and business continuity requirements.

• Collaborate closely with infrastructure teams, application teams, and external vendors.

• Support additional platforms and technologies such as MongoDB, Oracle, BI systems, and Priority ERP.

• Maintain technical documentation and work according to change management processes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA.

• Experience managing and maintaining SQL Server environments.

• Experience with backup and recovery processes, including Transaction Log Backups.

• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and database optimization.

• Experience managing database security and permissions.

• Experience supporting Production environments in medium to large organizations.
