CTO (Data & AI Focused)

We are a leading Israeli digital group managing a diverse portfolio of high-traffic platforms, transactional websites, and digital properties.

Our ecosystem has grown rapidly through acquisitions and organic expansion, leaving us with a fragmented infrastructure and disconnected data silos. We are now looking for a visionary CTO with a deep background in Data & AI to define and lead our next technological leap.

We are looking for a tech leader who is at the absolute forefront of technology - someone who can challenge our assumptions, tell us what we don't know, and map out the future of our data and software architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology & Data Strategy: Define the group-wide architectural vision. Lead the consolidation of our diverse platforms and databases into a unified, scalable, and modern ecosystem.

• Modern Data Infrastructure: Architect and oversee our modern data platform, ensuring robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and advanced analytics to turn raw data into a strategic business driver.

• AI Roadmap & Innovation: Drive the practical integration of GenAI, advanced personalization, and search technologies to optimize our B2B/B2C products and customer journeys.

• R&D Leadership: Directly manage and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering division comprising Software Developers, Data Engineers, and Team Leads, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

• Product & Tech Alignment: Work closely with product teams to translate complex business needs into elegant, scalable technical solutions, ensuring our tech stack directly supports our business KPIs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Leadership Experience: 4-6+ years of tech leadership (CTO, VP R&D, or Director of Engineering) within high-volume B2C, E-commerce, or marketplace environments.

• Data-First Expertise: A strong background in data engineering, modern data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.), data modeling teams.

• Product-Oriented Mindset (Major Advantage): Experience in product management or a highly product-focused approach to engineering. You understand how technology drives user value and business growth.

• Deep, practical understanding of AI, ML, and LLM implementations. You know how to leverage these technologies to solve real-world product challenges.

• Excellent, up-to-date knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/GCP), microservices, and API-driven design.

• A leader who can comfortably guide executive stakeholders on tech strategy while mentoring and inspiring hands-on engineering teams.
