Mechanical Designer

Magal Solutions is a global leader in the field of security, specializing in the development of command-and-control systems and the planning and execution of integrated security projects for the protection of critical infrastructure and strategic sites around the world.

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team!

Location: Yehud (relocating to Modi’in during 2026)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys for existing and potential customers to support system design and pricing.

• Mechanical and structural design of Magal’s security systems and products – including structures, concrete, and plastic components.

• Document, validate, and maintain engineering drawings.

• Ensure execution of designs in the field through coordination with external contractors and suppliers.

• Provide engineering support to manufacturing, R&D, and procurement departments.

• Provide engineering support and documentation throughout project stages, including PDR and CDR.

• Work in close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders, both in Israel and abroad.

Requirements:

• Mechanical or Civil Engineer / Practical Engineer (Technician) – mandatory.

• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design within an engineering company or in a military engineering office – mandatory.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks – mandatory.

• Proven experience in the design of structures, concrete elements, and plastic parts – mandatory.

• High-level proficiency in Hebrew and English (reading, writing, speaking).

• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office – mandatory.

• Experience working with PRIORITY ERP system – an advantage.

• Previous experience in the defense industry – a significant advantage.

• Valid driver’s license – mandatory.
