NOC Operator

A leading Israeli company specializing in SaaS-based software solutions is looking for a NOC Operator to join its Control and Monitoring Center team.

The role includes continuous monitoring of IT infrastructures, communication systems, servers, and core business applications, identifying real-time incidents, providing initial response, and escalating issues to the relevant professional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system availability, servers, networks, and critical applications.

• Identify incidents, alerts, and unusual system behavior in real time.

• Provide initial troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams.

• Document incidents and actions in a ticketing system.

• Work according to defined procedures, workflows, and operational playbooks.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.

• Familiarity with Windows Server environments.

• Ability to read logs and technical documentation in English.

• Relevant technical background, networking course, or military technical experience.

• Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts.

• High level of responsibility, attention to detail, alertness, ability to follow procedures, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Advantages:

• Basic SQL knowledge.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG.

• Basic understanding of PowerShell or Python.

• Previous experience in a NOC, monitoring center, technical support, or operations environment.
