Data Engineer

NESS is looking for a Data Engineer

The role includes developing data infrastructures, building complex ingestion and processing pipelines, working with large-scale data volumes and diverse data sources, and collaborating closely with data architects, system analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ra’anana.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Practical Software Engineering – mandatory

At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer – mandatory

Hands-on experience working with GCP in data projects – mandatory

Experience working with BigQuery as a Data Warehouse/Lakehouse – mandatory

Experience developing Data Pipelines in the cloud (Batch or Streaming) – mandatory

Experience working with Cloud Storage for ingesting and managing large-scale data – mandatory

Experience developing ELT/ETL processes in a GCP environment – mandatory

Experience using cloud-based orchestration tools – mandatory

Experience working with IAM and permissions in GCP – mandatory

Understanding of Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture in the cloud – mandatory

Strong SQL skills, particularly in BigQuery – mandatory
