About the Role

A leading research organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Architect to join its Information Security team.

In this role, you'll lead the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise cyber security solutions while supporting secure infrastructure, application security, and enterprise architecture initiatives. You'll work closely with IT, Infrastructure, Development, and Security teams to drive strategic cyber security projects and improve the organization's overall security posture.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise cyber security solutions.

• Lead security architecture, deployment, and system hardening initiatives.

• Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.

• Support Development teams on Secure Development practices.

• Develop security automation solutions.

• Investigate complex security incidents and troubleshoot production issues.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Networking, and Application teams.

• Drive enterprise cyber security projects from planning through implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security within large Enterprise environments or as a Cyber Security Integrator.

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Check Point Firewalls.

• Strong knowledge of secure network architecture.

• Experience securing Web and Mobile applications.

• Strong Windows and Linux administration knowledge.

• Programming experience in at least two of the following: Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Bash, or Shell scripting.

• Experience analyzing network traffic (PCAP) and common protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, SMB, SSL/TLS, and RPC.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
