Your impact

We are looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Israeli team based in Kiryat Gat (office/site based – 5 days per week) who is excited about working on advanced facilities projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you will have the chance to work on projects at some of the world’s most state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You will also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will successfully deliver on the design, development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems and products for Fire Protection installations. Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a relevant field.

• At least 3 years of practical application of Fire Protection system design, and their construction.

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels (CEFR level B2 English and Hebrew).

• General knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial facilities.

• Ability to work onsite in Kiryat Gat (office/site based – 5 days per week).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with a BIM environment, and knowledge of Navisworks software.

Ideally, you will also have

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.

• History of excellent client and contractor interaction and support.

• Proficiency in Microsoft suite.

• Minimum of 2 years of cleanroom experience (semiconductor preferred).

Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
