AI BUILDER

Ormat Technologies (NYSE: ORA) is a publicly traded renewable energy company and a global leader in geothermal and energy storage.

The Role

Ormat is scaling AI across its global operations, with a growing portfolio of agents and GenAI solutions, an AI Leads network across sites, and a company-wide push to move AI from experimentation to execution. The AI Builder is the hands-on delivery engine of that effort -turning scoped business problems into working agents, Copilots, and automated workflows that are shipped, adopted, and used by employees.

This is a hands-on builder role, where success is measured by solutions that are shipped, adopted, and used. A strong AI Builder thinks in workflows and orchestration: breaking business goals into clear steps, connecting the right data, systems, and users, and designing agents that complete tasks reliably. A formal software engineering background is helpful but not required. What matters most is passion for AI and technical solutions, strong product thinking, comfort working directly with users, and the ability to collaborate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

What You'll Do

• Build agents & automations - design and ship multi-step AI agents, copilots and automated workflows that connect to real company data and systems.

• Work directly with users - prototype rapidly with the business people who will use the solution; iterate based on real feedback.

• Integrate systems - connect agents to internal data, documents and platforms (SharePoint, M365, databases, APIs).

• Document and enable reuse - build to internal standards so solutions become reusable patterns, not one-offs that get rebuilt next quarter.

• Hand off cleanly - partner with IT/Data to transition production-ready solutions into infrastructure, monitoring, and security support.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience building AI agents, automations or GenAI applications - a portfolio of shipped solutions matters more than years or titles.

• Hands-on fluency with at least one modern agent/automation platform (Power Automate, Copilot Studio, LangChain, OpenAI AgentKit, n8n, Make or similar).

• Strong prompt engineering and a working understanding of RAG and agent orchestration

• Excellent communication and comfort working directly with business users

• Able to deliver quickly, document clearly, and work effectively in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
