Legal Director

Description

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Legal Director to lead and manage the company’s legal activities. This role will support Helfy rapid growth by providing strategic legal guidance across multiple areas, including commercial agreements, regulatory matters, corporate governance, and risk management.

The Legal Director will work closely with senior leadership, product, operations, and external partners to ensure the company operates in a compliant, efficient, and scalable legal framework.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s primary legal advisor and provide strategic legal guidance to leadership.

• Support business initiatives by identifying legal risks and proposing practical solutions.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including partnerships, vendor agreements, and service agreements.

• Support business and operational teams in contract negotiations.

• Ensure the company operates in compliance with applicable regulations in relevant markets.

• Advise on regulatory matters related to healthcare and digital services when applicable.

• Support corporate governance processes and maintain company policies and legal documentation.

• Work with external legal counsel when necessary.

• Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Ensure legal processes scale effectively as the company grows.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of legal experience, preferably in a tech company or startup environment.

• Strong experience with commercial contracts and corporate matters.

• Experience working with startups or fast-growing companies.

• Ability to translate legal complexity into practical business solutions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent English.
