Senior C# Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Architect and implement high-throughput, low-latency backend services using C# and .NET Core.

• Microservices Architecture: Deconstruct complex workflows into highly scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant Microservices.

• Containerization & DevOps: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to containerize services and streamline cloud-native deployment pipelines.

• SaaS Infrastructure: Build and optimize multi-tenant SaaS architectures, ensuring strict data isolation, security, and high availability.

• Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) for maximum performance and reliability.

• Security & Compliance: Implement top-tier security protocols and data protection measures suitable for a defense-sector environment.

• Mentorship: Guide junior team members, conduct thorough code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET 6/8).

• Architecture: Proven track record of designing and deploying distributed systems and Microservices architectures.

• Containerization: Strong, hands-on experience with Docker (Kubernetes/ECS is a major plus).

• SaaS Experience: Prior experience working on enterprise-grade SaaS products (understanding multi-tenancy, API gateways, and cloud infrastructure).

• Databases: Deep knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions.

• Security Mindset: Familiarity with secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10) and encryption standards.

• Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent military experience (e.g., Mamram, 8200).

• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a high-level defense security clearance (סיווג ביטחוני).

Advantages (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Cloud Providers (AWS / Azure / GCP).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Experience with message brokers / event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
