Join an advanced AI unit operating in the VISINT (Visual Intelligence) domain, focused on developing and deploying cutting-edge models for analyzing Earth Observation (EO) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite imagery.

What You'll Do?

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Backend services and APIs.

• Lead the design and implementation of modern microservices architectures and distributed systems.

• Manage the full data lifecycle, including integration with diverse data sources and large-scale satellite datasets.

• Build and optimize data pipelines that power AI and ML workflows.

• Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes-based distributed infrastructure.

• Improve system performance, scalability, availability, and latency across mission-critical environments.

• Implement monitoring and observability solutions to ensure production reliability.

• Collaborate closely with AI Researchers, ML Engineers, and DevOps teams to operationalize advanced AI capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer / Software Engineer.

• Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar.

• Hands-on experience designing APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.

• Strong background working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Deep understanding of scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and security best practices.

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with EO/SAR satellite data.

• Experience with messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

• Experience building real-time or low-latency systems.

• Knowledge of MLOps practices and AI model integration.
