מחפשים מהנדס.ת שרוצה להיות בלב הפיתוח של מערכות מיגון מתקדמות ולעבוד על מוצרים שנמצאים בקצה הטכנולוגיה והעשייה הביטחונית. התפקיד עוסק בפיתוח מיגון כנגד איומים קינטיים, משלב הרעיון ובדיקת ההתכנות ועד לליווי הייצור הסדרתי.

זה תפקיד מאוד hands-on שמשלב עבודה הנדסית, ניסויים בשטח, חשיבה טכנית ופתרון בעיות אמיתי. ביומיום עובדים על תכנון ופיתוח חתכי מיגון בהתאם לתקנים ודרישות לקוח, נותנים מענה בליסטי וטכני לפרויקטים שונים, ומלווים את תהליך הפיתוח לאורך כל הדרך.

חלק משמעותי מהעבודה כולל ייצור מטרות בסדנת הפיתוח, השתתפות בניסויי ירי במעבדת הירי, ניתוח תוצאות והסקת מסקנות להמשך הפיתוח. זה תפקיד שמתאים למי שאוהב לראות את המוצר קורה בפועל ולא רק לעבוד מול מחשב. יש כאן שילוב בין תכנון הנדסי, עבודה עם חומרים, שרטוטים, בדיקות וניסויים, ועבודה צמודה עם מגוון ממשקים טכנולוגיים.

דרישות התפקיד:

• תואר ראשון בהנדסת מכונות או הנדסת חומרים

• אפשרות גם להנדסאי.ת מצטיין.ת עם לפחות 5 שנות ניסיון בסביבת פיתוח

• שליטה בתוכנת שרטוט

• הבנה בסיסית בחומרים – יתרון

We are looking for a Ballistics Engineer who wants to be at the heart of the development of advanced armor and protection systems and work on products at the forefront of defense technology and innovation.

This role focuses on the development of protection solutions against kinetic threats, from the initial concept and feasibility stage through serial production support. It is a highly hands-on position that combines engineering design, field testing, technical problem-solving, and practical development work.

On a day-to-day basis, you will design and develop armor configurations in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards, provide ballistic and technical support to various projects, and accompany the development process from concept to implementation. A significant part of the role includes manufacturing test targets in the development workshop, participating in live-fire tests at the ballistic laboratory, analyzing test results, and drawing conclusions to support ongoing development efforts.

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy seeing their work come to life and prefer being involved in practical development rather than working solely behind a computer. The role combines engineering design, materials engineering, technical drawings, testing and validation activities, and close collaboration with a variety of technological and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering

• Outstanding Practical Engineer (Engineering Technician) with at least 5 years of experience in a development environment may also be considered

• Proficiency in CAD/drafting software

• Basic knowledge of engineering materials is an advantage
