Vice President of Engineering

A fast-growing, innovative technology company is looking for an experienced VP of Engineering to lead its engineering and product development organization.

This is a key executive position, offering the opportunity to shape the company's engineering strategy, lead multidisciplinary development teams, and play a significant role in the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the company's engineering organization.

• Oversee multidisciplinary engineering and NPI (New Product Introduction) teams.

• Drive the transition from product development to manufacturing.

• Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept through production.

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and other cross-functional teams.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, certification requirements, and quality standards.

• Promote innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• Proven experience leading engineering and product development teams.

• Hands-on experience managing NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.

• Mandatory experience in UAVs, aircraft, or airborne systems development.

• Strong understanding of engineering development processes, system integration, certification, and regulatory requirements within the aerospace or airborne systems industry.

• Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving cross-functional engineering initiatives.

• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
