Backend Team Lead

Position Overview-

• Backend Development Team Leader balancing engineering management with core technical architecture (50% hands-on), reporting directly to the VP of R&D.

• Leading and mentoring an intimate squad of backend engineers while driving the technical roadmap for the company's core processing engines.

• Engineering low-latency, production-grade backend systems and scalable data pipelines in Python optimized for intensive deep learning workloads.

• Architecting hybrid deployment topologies seamlessly bridging public cloud frameworks (AWS) with high-performance physical environments (On-Premises).

• Coordinating infrastructure, orchestration layers, and hardware acceleration utilities to support complex graphics-compute (GPU/CUDA) pipelines.

• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Computer Vision Software Engineering, Industrial Image Analysis, Python Backend Architecture, Hybrid Cloud & On-Premises Systems (AWS), Containerization (Kubernetes), CI/CD Automation, GPU Acceleration (CUDA), NoSQL & Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Requirements-

• Proven leadership experience (several years) directly managing a software development team – Mandatory

• Strong professional background (extensive experience) dedicated to core backend software engineering – Mandatory

• Up-to-date, production-grade programming mastery in Python – Mandatory

• Hands-on engineering experience deploying and maintaining applications within a Public Cloud ecosystem (AWS preferred) – Mandatory

• Technical familiarity with database design (SQL/NoSQL) and modern container orchestration structures – Strong Advantage

• Prior exposure to hardware-accelerated environments, AI serving infrastructures, or hybrid on-prem installations – Advantage
