Technical Production Manager

We are looking for

For our site in Karmiel, we are looking for a Technical Production Manager for Electro-Optical Systems to join the Sustaining Engineering team

Come and take part in supporting and transferring advanced electro-optical systems into production within a multidisciplinary technological environment. In this role, you will lead NPI processes, tackle complex engineering challenges, and directly impact the quality and efficiency of products in an innovative and meaningful defense industry

In this role you will

Support development activities and the integration of detector- and lens-based products into serial production

Conduct failure investigations and provide creative solutions to technical issues arising during production processes

Lead engineering changes in serial production products, including solutions for obsolete components, through multidisciplinary matrix management

Write technical documentation for products and processes

Participate in the planning and understanding of engineering test processes such as QUAL and POD

Work closely with a wide range of engineering and operational interfaces across the organization

Requirements

Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering

At least 3 years of experience in technical management, system engineering, product management, or NPI engineering

Experience working in a matrix environment with multidisciplinary systems

Familiarity with optical systems and products - Advantage

Familiarity with optical testing and calibration equipment such as Collimators, Theodolites, optical tables, integrating spheres, and cameras - Advantage

Familiarity with engineering tools and algorithms such as scripting, Python, and MATLAB - Advantage

High motivation, teamwork skills, broad system-level thinking, ability to work independently, and strong learning capabilities
