Technical Writer

Technical Writer- Manufacturing & NPI

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join a growing technology company developing complex multidisciplinary systems.

This is a hands-on technical writing role focused on New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing documentation, and engineering knowledge transfer.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation that supports the transition from R&D to production and ensures effective knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain manufacturing and test documentation, including AP, AC, TP, and ATP procedures.

• Develop Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to support production transfer and knowledge sharing.

• Prepare internal engineering documentation, assembly files, test and calibration documentation, and technical deliverables.

• Translate complex engineering information into clear, structured, and practical work instructions.

• Collaborate with R&D, Mechanical Engineering, Contracts, ILS, and production teams to ensure accurate and complete documentation.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in hardware, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

• Proven experience writing manufacturing instructions and test procedures (AP, AC, TP, ATP).

• Experience creating Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and supporting NPI processes.

• Ability to understand complex engineering and mechanical information and translate it into clear documentation.

• Excellent technical writing skills in English.

• Experience working in a hardware-focused technology environment.

• Familiarity with Configuration Management tools (the role itself focuses on technical writing).
