Experienced Software Engineer

About the Role

Malam, within the Missiles & Space Division, is looking for an Experienced Software Engineer to join the Simulators and System Tools Development Team.

The role includes:

• Backend software development in C# using the .NET Framework and .NET 6+ environments.

• Working with hardware, controllers, boards, and various interfaces.

Implementing and supporting standard communication protocols such as UDP and TCP/IP.

• Hardware-software integration and cross-disciplinary system integration.

• Collaborating with System Engineering, Hardware, Manufacturing, and Maintenance teams.

• Supporting existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and improving system performance.

What We're Looking For

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Exact Sciences – Mandatory.

• At least 5 years of software development experience – Mandatory.

• Experience developing in C# – Mandatory.

• Proven experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) – Mandatory.

• Experience with serial communication and network communication – Mandatory.

• Experience working with hardware interfaces and standard communication protocols – Mandatory.

• Experience with one or more configuration management tools such as ClearCase, TFS, or Git – Mandatory.

• Full proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) – Mandatory.

• Experience developing military systems – Advantage.

• Experience working in an Agile methodology – Advantage.
