A leading insurance company is looking for a Junior DevOps & Data Platform Engineer to join its Data Infrastructure team.

The Data Department is responsible for the organization's data infrastructure, from operational databases and Data Warehouse environments to modern cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for enterprise database infrastructure.

• Assist in the administration and maintenance of SQL Server and Oracle databases.

• Perform day-to-day DBA activities, including:

• User and permission management.

• Environment maintenance.

• Backup and recovery.

• Performance monitoring.

• Troubleshooting.

• Scheduled jobs and maintenance tasks.

• Support the Data team's DevOps processes.

• Manage and support cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.

• Build and maintain development and production environments.

• Automate operational processes using scripts.

• Collaborate with Development, BI, Data Engineering, and Information Security teams.

• Participate in infrastructure and cloud projects.

Requirements

• Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role or completion of a relevant DevOps/Infrastructure training program.

• Basic knowledge of SQL.

• Familiarity with SQL Server or Oracle.

• Basic knowledge of Windows Server.

• Strong self-learning ability.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
