Role Description

As our VP R$D, you will serve as the scientific and technological heartbeat of the company. You will provide strategic leadership to our R&D department and laboratories, acting as the primary authority on all chemical process development. Your mission will be to drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency, ensuring that our technical output remains at the industry’s cutting edge. Furthermore, you will hold responsibility for the strategic development and management of the company’s Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio. You will act as the key scientific bridge between Airovation and our strategic business partners and clients, translating complex technical concepts into robust business value and steering our long-term technological vision.

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking an experienced scientific leader with the following qualifications:

- Academic Background: A PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.

- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the industry, with a strong preference for candidates with a deep background in process industries.

- Technical Expertise: A proven track record in research, lab management, and the practical resolution of complex chemical process challenges.

- Soft Skills & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire a team. A high level of proficiency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory to effectively represent the company in international business settings.

- Strategic Capability: Demonstrated experience in building and managing IP portfolios and communicating effectively as a scientific authority with external stakeholders.
