Development Project Manager

Join the technology division of one of Israel's leading financial organizations. As a Development Project Manager, you'll lead complex end-to-end technology projects within a newly established division responsible for the company's data and AI initiatives. Working closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders, you'll drive the delivery of innovative solutions that support the organization's digital transformation.

What You'll Do:

• Lead complex end-to-end development projects, from planning and design through delivery and implementation

• Manage the full software development lifecycle, ensuring successful execution across multiple workstreams

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Backend Developers, DevOps Engineers, Architects, BI teams, and business stakeholders

• Build project plans, manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and monitor project execution

• Manage project backlogs and drive delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Lead deployment and implementation activities, ensuring successful delivery and business adoption

• Identify risks, remove blockers, and drive effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Define and track project KPIs, including delivery timelines, quality, performance, and adoption

Requirements:

Must Haves:

• 3-5 years of experience managing software development projects in a technology-driven environment

• Experience working closely with software development teams throughout the development lifecycle

• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders

• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and software development processes

• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)

• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar

Nice to Have:

• Experience delivering Data, BI, or Data Platform projects

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT processes

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Experience working on AI-related projects or technologies

• Experience defining and tracking project KPIs and delivery metrics
