About the Team As a Senior Backend Engineer at Insider Risk Management You will be part of a brand new team being built from scratch under the DLP group, focused on Insider Risk Management (IRM) - a new product area at Cyera. This domain extends traditional DLP by taking a broader, behavior-based approach to identifying potential insider threats across the organization, leveraging signals such as communication patterns, user activity, and data access. The team is currently in its early formation stage and offers a unique opportunity to shape a product from the ground up - from architecture and design decisions to core capabilities. We’re looking for engineers who are excited about building 0→1 products, enjoy high ownership, and want to have a real impact on a new strategic direction within Cyera. Our areas of expertise are: Databases of every kind | Cloud technologies - AWS, GCP, Azure | Virtual Machines and computing | Cloud security & Identity management | data security | Performance and cost optimization Who You Are • You have strong backend experience building distributed systems and working with real-time data processing • You have experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance systems • You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building products from 0→1 with high ownership Nice-to-Haves • You have experience working with cloud environments and modern data infrastructure • You have familiarity with security products or data security domains • You enjoy collaborating closely with product and data teams to deliver impactful features The tools and services we use across Cyera are: Python | FastAPI | K8s| Kafka | Flink | Spark | Microservices Why Join Us?
