Job Description

A leading bank in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Automation Team Lead to lead its Automation Testing team and drive innovation across enterprise QA initiatives.

This role combines people leadership, automation strategy, AI-driven testing, and hands-on technical expertise in modern testing frameworks and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Automation Testing team.

• Design and oversee automated testing for Web, Mobile, and API platforms.

• Lead automation initiatives across distributed Microservices environments.

• Manage performance and load testing activities.

• Drive AI adoption within automation testing processes.

• Build and enhance automation frameworks and testing best practices.

• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product, and Architecture teams.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in Automation Testing.

• Experience leading an automation team or technical leadership.

• Strong software development background (preferably Java).

• Experience with UI automation (Playwright – advantage).

• Experience with Appium for mobile automation.

• Experience testing REST APIs.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps – advantage).

• Experience using JMeter for performance testing.

• Experience with Git and modern development methodologies.

• Hands-on experience implementing AI solutions within automation processes.
