VP R&D | Leading Digital Products, AI Solutions & Multi-Project Delivery

An established digital-tech company developing advanced digital solutions and AI-based products is looking for a VP R&D to lead the full R&D organization end to end.

This is a senior leadership role with significant impact on the development and delivery of complex digital products in a dynamic, multi-project environment.

What you’ll do

Lead the R&D organization on both the strategic and operational levels, including management of development and QA teams, architectural leadership, and key technology decision-making.

Own the delivery of multiple complex projects in parallel, including planning, prioritization, execution, and end-to-end delivery management.

Work closely with executive management, clients, and business stakeholders, while driving the integration of AI-based solutions into both development processes and products.

Must-have requirements

10+ years of software development experience

At least 5 years of experience managing R&D / Engineering teams in a Head, Director, or VP role

Proven experience leading delivery of multiple complex projects simultaneously

Experience managing significant development teams, including team leads

Experience working directly with large-scale clients

Strong technological background in Web, Cloud, and Microservices environments

Strong business understanding and ability to work closely with executives and clients

Strong AI orientation, with hands-on experience implementing AI solutions in real environments

Strong advantage

Experience in a project-based company, software house, or digital-tech environment

Experience working with distributed teams

Experience leading AI solutions in production environments

Full-time hybrid position — 2 days from the office.
