Cloud Analyst

abra's Cloud Division is seeking a Junior Azure FinOps Specialist to join our team in Ra'anana.

We are looking for an entry-level Azure FinOps Specialist with a basic understanding of Microsoft Azure and a strong desire to develop in the field of cloud cost optimization and financial management.

In this role, you will work closely with IT, DevOps, Cloud, and business teams to help monitor cloud costs, generate insights, identify optimization opportunities, and support governance processes within Microsoft Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze costs within Microsoft Azure environments.

• Generate usage and consumption reports using Azure Cost Management.

• Identify cost anomalies and recommend optimization opportunities.

• Track cloud budgets and consumption forecasts.

• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Information Security teams to optimize cloud resources.

• Support the implementation of cloud cost management best practices.

• Analyze usage trends and present business and financial insights to customers and internal stakeholders.

• Work with BI tools and reports to present cloud consumption and financial data.

Requirements:

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Azure.

• Understanding of Azure services, including:

• Virtual Machines

• Storage

• Networking

• Azure SQL

• App Services

• Strong analytical skills and business-oriented thinking.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Good English communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Advantages

• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification.

• Familiarity with Azure Cost Management.

• Basic knowledge of Power BI.

• Experience working with financial data or budgets.

• Familiarity with the FinOps Framework.
