Senior SQL Server DBA | Global Tech Company

Looking for a DBA role where you can actually influence the environment - not just maintain it?

We’re looking for a Senior SQL Server DBA to join the Cloud Development organization of a global technology company, in a flexible hybrid work model.

This is a highly hands-on role with ownership over complex, business-critical database environments, working closely with R&D, DevOps and engineering teams.

What you’ll work on:

• Complex SQL Server production environments

• Performance tuning, query optimization and troubleshooting

• High Availability: Always On, replication and failover clustering

• Database migrations, upgrades and new implementations

• Backup, recovery, DR and database security

• Automation and improvement of ongoing DBA processes

• Cloud-based environments, including AWS

• Defining database standards and best practices across the organization

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA

• Strong expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL and performance tuning

• Experience supporting critical Production environments

• Strong knowledge of HA/DR, backup and recovery

• Experience with cloud environments

Nice to have: AWS RDS / EC2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
