Business Intelligence Developer

BI Developer (Backend & Frontend) | Leading Defense Company | Central Israel

A leading defense company in Central Israel is looking for an experienced BI Developer to join its BI team.

This is a hands-on role combining both Backend and Frontend BI development, working with Power BI, SQL, Python, and modern data technologies to deliver end-to-end business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Build and optimize relational database infrastructure using Oracle and SQL Server.

• Develop and maintain data models, including Tabular Models and Power BI semantic models.

• Write advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and complex data transformations.

• Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations.

• Design and implement ETL processes and system integrations.

• Connect, transform, and validate data from multiple sources, including SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, and text files.

• Develop data processing and automation solutions using Python.

• Gather business requirements and deliver end-to-end BI solutions.

• Perform data analysis to support business decision-making and improve organizational performance.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Information Systems, Statistics, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience developing end-to-end BI solutions (Backend & Frontend).

• Strong experience with Power BI development.

• Excellent SQL skills, including complex queries and stored procedures.

• Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server.

• Strong knowledge of DAX and Tabular Models.

• Experience in Data Modeling and relational databases.

• Experience designing and developing ETL processes.

• Experience with Python.

• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Advantages

• Familiarity with business processes in Manufacturing, Procurement, or Project Management.
